Turn Your Rooftop into a Power Plant
Do you have a large roof or land within the City of Guelph that you would like to lease for a solar installation?
Ontario's Green Energy and Economy Act has made electricity generation by solar economically viable. Guelph Hydro's subsidiary, Envida Community Energy Inc., is currently seeking large commercial, institutional and industrial roofs and land for the installation of solar photovoltaic systems for an annual fee, guaranteed for 20 years.
In return, at no cost to you, Envida Community Energy Inc. will design, develop, install, own and operate the solar system, selling the electricity generated to the Ontario grid.
PLEASE NOTE: Envida Community Energy Inc. does not lease roofs of residential buildings.
