Developing District Energy projects in the Guelph community
Guelph Hydro's subsidiary, Envida Community Energy Inc. is developing combined heat and power (CHP) / district energy (DE) projects that have the potential to bring clean, efficient, local power generation to the City of Guelph and provide momentum for the City of Guelph's Community Energy Initiative.
A number of combined heat and power projects, including the New Hanlon Creek Business Park, have been submitted under the Ontario Power Authority's (OPA) Clean Energy Standard Offer Program.
