
Barry Chuddy

Mr. Chuddy has more than two decades of industry experience. Prior to joining Guelph Hydro Inc. in 2009, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Columbia Power Corporation, Executive Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Enersource Hydro Mississauga and held senior positions with TransAlta and Emera Inc. He was an original stakeholder Board member of the Independent Electricity Market Operator (now the Independent Electricity System Operator - IESO) in Ontario and chaired the IESO Audit Committee. He is a past Board member of the Independent Power Producers Society of Ontario (now APPro) and currently serves on the Board of the Canadian District Energy Association.

Ian Miles

Mr. Miles began his professional career in the telecommunications industry in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. In 2001 he joined Toronto Hydro Energy Services Inc. as Vice President, Finance and, one year later, was appointed President of Toronto Hydro Telecom Inc. In 2005, Mr. Miles founded Blue Current Inc., a Toronto-based management and energy services consulting company, ultimately working with Guelph Hydro Inc. to coordinate the divestiture of the Selectpower business assets. He was hired as Chief Financial Officer by Guelph Hydro Inc. in March 2007. Mr. Miles was awarded an Honours Bachelor of Science degree by Acadia University in 1982 and a Masters of Business Administration by Dalhousie University in 1985. He also holds the Chartered Director designation from The Directors College, a joint venture of McMaster University and the Conference Board of Canada. In 2009, Mr. Miles was appointed as Chair of Guelph Environmental Leadership.

Seymour Trachimovsky

Mr. Trachimovsky joined Guelph Hydro Inc. in May 2010 following a 25-year career as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of DuPont Canada Inc. and a five-year sojourn as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Zenon Environmental Inc. In these roles and previous positions, Mr. Trachimovsky managed patent and other intellectual property portfolios, oversaw mergers, divestitures and acquisitions, and managed significant patent and product liability litigation. He implemented significant governance reforms at DuPont Canada when it was publicly traded as well as at Zenon. During the mid-nineties he served on the Canadian Bar Association Task Force on Civil Justice. Mr. Trachimovsky is on the Board of the Canadian Forum for Access to Civil Justice and the Editorial Board of the Canadian Centre for Ethics and Corporate Policy. He is a graduate of McGill University with degrees in common law (LL.B) and chemical engineering (B.Eng). He is also a graduate of Schulich School of Business (MBA) with major in accounting and finance and of Osgoode Hall (LLM, tax policy).

Ron Collins
Vice-President, Business Development and Partnerships

Mr. Collins joined Guelph Hydro Inc. in November 2010 with more than 15 years of senior management experience in Ontario's utility and power generation industries. In addition to holding senior manager positions with Capital Power, EPCOR, Enbridge and Union Gas, he founded Global Energy Solutions, an energy services consultancy that specializes in delivering highly effective Conservation and Demand Management programs as well as project management program for power generation projects. Mr. Collins has a Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degrees.

Nicole Mailloux
Vice-President of Human Resources,
Guelph Hydro Electric Systems Inc.
Ms. Mailloux is a senior human resources professional with in-depth human resources, compensation and labour relations experience in the Ontario energy and electrical utility sector. Her first career was in the field of biological research with Ontario Hydro's Research Division. Ms. Mailloux spearheaded Guelph Hydro's Conservation and Demand Management programs in 2005 and 2006. She is a core member of the Electricity Distributors Association Human Resources Council, a co-Chair of the Utility Human Resources Networking Group, a member of the Guelph Local Immigration Partnership Leadership Council, a past member of the Guelph Partnership for Innovation Board and past Chair of the Wellington County Public Sector Consortium Human Resource Group. She volunteers her time on the Board of Michael House and other local charities. She has been designated as Human Resources and Compensation Committee Certified (HRCCC)) and is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP). She also has an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph.

Sandy Manners
Director of Corporate Communications

Ms. Manners is an award-winning senior communications professional with extensive experience in the energy and utilities sector. Prior to joining Guelph Hydro Inc. in 2010, she served as Director, Corporate Communications for Horizon Utilities Corporation and Manager, Strategic Communications and Public Relations for Siemens Power Generation. She taught Issues and Crisis Communications Planning at McMaster University and is past-Chair of the Communicators' Council of the Electricity Distributors Association. Ms. Manners has a Bachelor of Arts from Waterloo University, a certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Toronto, and was recently inducted as a Fellow of the Canadian Public Relations Society.
