Jasmine Urisk, Board Chair
Ms. Urisk is President of JTU Consulting Inc. a Guelph-based consulting firm founded in 1990. She has actively and successfully engaged in the environment and energy sectors for over 30 years, both through her consulting practice and her 10 years of employment with TransCanada PipeLines Limited. Prior to this, Ms. Urisk was responsible for several international programs with Environment Canada. A resident of Guelph since 1973, Ms. Urisk is active in several industry and environmental associations. She holds the Chartered Director designation from The Directors College, a joint venture of McMaster University and the Conference Board of Canada. She is the Past Chair and continues as a member of the Board of the Environmental Careers Organization Canada and also served on the Board of the Ontario Energy Association. Ms. Urisk is an active member of her church serving as Eucharistic minister and lector, and supports several local charitable organizations such as Michael House. She was the recipient of the prestigious Women of Distinction Award from the YMCA-YWCA of Guelph in the Business, Labour, the Professions and Entrepreneurs category in 2010.
Jane Armstrong
Ms. Armstrong is a life-long resident of Guelph and is a partner with the law firm of Vorvis Anderson Gray Armstrong LLP. She has practiced law since 1982 and she holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto. Ms. Armstrong has served on the Boards of several community organizations, including the Downtown Board of Management and the Canadian Red Cross Society. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Guelph and served as its President in 2004-2005. Ms. Armstrong is a former member of the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal Panel and a former Chair of the Guelph Police Services Board. In 2009, Ms. Armstrong received the Chartered Director designation from The Directors College, a joint venture of McMaster University and the Conference Board of Canada.
Jan Carr
Dr. Jan Carr has a Ph.D. in Electric Power Systems and 40 years of global experience in the electricity sector, including Asia, Africa, Central America and the Caribbean. He is a Board member of the Alberta Electric System Operator and Legend Power Systems, has served on the Board of TransAlta Power, and was CEO of the Ontario Power Authority and Vice-Chair of the Ontario Energy Board.

Brian Cowan
Mr. Cowan previously held positions as Vice President for Marketing and Program Management with Teranet Inc. in Toronto and as President and Chief Operating Officer of Centric Systems Corporation in Canada. He has also held executive marketing positions with Intergraph Corp. in Canada and the Netherlands. He holds a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo, a Masters of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and has completed advanced training in negotiations at Harvard Law School. He also holds the Chartered Director designation from The Directors College, a joint venture of McMaster University and the Conference Board of Canada. Mr. Cowan has also served as Chair of Curl Ontario where he was awarded the Ontario government's Syl Apps Sports Award for Sport Development and is currently a member of the Puslinch Planning Advisory Committee. He has been the President of the Guelph Curling Club and is actively involved with the Rotary Club of Guelph South.

Bill Koornstra
Mr. Koornstra is a Chartered Accountant and partner at the accounting firm RLB LLP in Guelph. His practice focus includes corporate reorganizations, tax, succession and estate planning and strategic and business advisory services. Mr. Koornstra is the Chair of the firm's Specialty Practices and Practice Growth teams. A lifetime resident of Guelph, Mr. Koornstra is also active in several community organizations. He is currently the Chair of the Board of Trustees for St. Joseph's Health Centre (Guelph), a committee member of the Finance and Audit Committee of St. Joseph's Health System (Hamilton), a member of the Professional Advisors' Committee for the Guelph Community Foundation and a member of the Applications Committee for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario.

Rick Thompson
Mr. Thompson was a sales and marketing executive with the Johnson & Johnson family of companies in Canada for 21 years before becoming a Partner and Vice President of the consulting firm of McCormick Delisle & Thompson (MDT) Inc. Following the sale of MDT in 1998, Mr. Thompson became Executive Director of Canada's Technology Triangle Inc., responsible for creating and managing joint economic development initiatives for the cities of Cambridge, Guelph, Kitchener and Waterloo. Today, Mr. Thompson has a consulting practice in sales, marketing, commercial real estate and investment management, and possesses the Canadian Investment Manager designation.
